Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DietTracker mobile application (the "App"), provided by TryCatch ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use DietTracker. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings within the App.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Submit false, misleading, or offensive content (including custom food entries or notes)
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App

5. User-Submitted Content

If the App allows you to submit custom foods, notes, or other content, you retain ownership of that content but grant us a license to store, display, and use it as necessary to operate the App. You are responsible for ensuring your submitted content is accurate and does not infringe on others' rights.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

[If the App is currently free, state: "DietTracker is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and clearly disclose pricing before any charge." If you plan in-app purchases/subscriptions, replace this section with your actual payment terms, refund policy, and auto-renewal disclosures as required by the App Store.]

The App, including its design, logo, and underlying software, is owned by TryCatch and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutrition calculations will be perfectly accurate for every individual.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TryCatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any health outcomes related to following recommendations generated by the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland/Helsinki, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
